The project aimed to strengthen the institutional potential of CSOs and local initiative groups in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts for local community development. Target audience: local CSOs in 4 Oblasts. / 2017
Project “Community Voice in Local Self-Government”: As part of the “Decentralization brings better results and efficiency” (DOBRE) program, USAID (2017-2020). Work in 10 amalgamated territorial communities of Kherson Oblast was conducted in the following areas: local budgets, citizen participation in the budget process, and implementation of participatory budgeting mechanisms in communities; youth activation and participation through the introduction of youth councils and support for their activities, as well as training and support in implementing youth initiatives; leadership in communities through the formation of a circle of active citizens, expert support in creating CSOs, assessing the organizational capacity of local CSOs, and providing them with organizational development consultations. Target audience: CSOs within communities. / 2017
